Beyoncé Is No One’s Mate

@Pinklibra4

I had the privilege of seeing Beyonce on her last London date this past Sunday. It was phenomenal.

I was left gobsmacked from start to finish.

For those of you who don’t know, Beyonce started her Renaissance world tour in Stockholm, Sweden on 10th May 2023. This tour is the most highly anticipated tours of the century. Earlier, this year in February, Beyonce announced that she would be embarking on a world tour. Once the tickets dropped, it became the hunger games. Everybody was doing their best to purchase any form of tickets they could find on Ticketmaster.

Beyonce started her 5 night residency in Tottenham Hotspurs stadium in, London from 29th May 2023-4th  June2023. Beyonce is No one’s mate, she performed to 238,000 people this past week.

This was more than just a tour; it was a movement. This tour was all about feeling free and being proud of who you’re. A lot of people noticed that Beyoncé felt more carefree during the tour. She was moving and grooving across the stage. There were no favourite parts from the show because everything was out of this world. But if I had to pick, I would say Blue Ivy coming on stage to dance was iconic.

The world saw Beyonce announce her pregnancy live at the VMAS in 2011 during her ‘Love on Top’ performance. So, to see her now grown and performing with her mother is really emotional and sweet. Blue is only 11 years old and has so much confidence already.

Also my favourite moment- THE iconic ‘America has a problem’ dance.

The tour felt more like a theatre production. There were intervals, each performance came with cool props such as a moving Army Stryker vehicles, which Beyonce was dancing on, a robotic arm, a bed display and Beyonce even gave her live band and dancers their own segment, which I love because it shows how appreciative she is of her team. One thing I love about Beyonce, is how dedicated she is to performing.

There was no rushing between songs, transitions were smooth and clean. Not one note misplaced, the dancing was on beat, no huffing and puffing whilst singing live. Everything was to perfection.

If there is one thing you need to do, it’s to go and see Beyonce perform live, it really is a lifetime experience.
